Happy May Day/Butterfly Pavillion

Happy May Day! As a kid May Day in the Cul-de-Sac was one of the best days of the year, making candy bags and leaving them on our friends doorsteps and running (the only day of the year that we had an excuse to play ding dong ditch). Even though this year's May Day didn't include any ding dong ditching it was a great day. We started the day with a trip to the Butterfly Pavillion and since our 4 year old niece Ana is a bug fanatic it was heaven for her. There were TONS of butterflies and bugs, and I even held a tarantula!

Jackson mainly slept through the exhibits, but didn't he look adorable???
Matt wasn't too fond of the Butterflies, and spent the majority of the time in the Pavillion dodging Butterflies. At one point when he was slapping away a Butterfly one of the volunteers came up to him and him if she could help him, that was his cue to exit and wait for us in the hall!
