It's a boy!

Today we had our 20 week ultrasound (even though I am 19 weeks), and we found out that we are having a boy! They said that everything looks very healthy, and we got to see the baby's hands, feet, and face. Now I'm sure you're all wondering... what will you name him? That is something you will have to wait another 21 weeks for until he makes his appearance!

Matt's Elk Hunting Adventure

While my mom and I spent time around home with Jackson, Matt and my dad spent the last week in the woods elk hunting. They saw three elk on their first day. They shot one on the first day and followed the blood trail for a long ways to end up having the elk get away. After that they saw a few moose, but had no luck with the elk. They braved some cold nights in the tent, and Matt says he went through "man initiation", whatever that means! All in all they enjoyed their time and now Matt's Christmas list is filled with all kinds of hutning gear!

A Fort!

My Mom has been busy teaching Jackson how to build forts! He loves them but doesn't quite understand not to stand up in them. He is a bit destructive, but it is adorable to see him and his staticy hair!

New Jammies/ Destroyer

Jackson LOVES his footballs, so much that the other night he bit a chunk out of a nerf football! Luckily Matt got the piece, then today Jack almost did it again! This morning he enjoyed hanging out with his Nana in his new jammies.

Gearing Up!

On Thursday my parents arrived here in Denver so that Matt and my dad could go out elk hunting for the week! Of course the hunting trip involved getting some new gear, including numerous trips to Bass Pro Shop. On one of the runs Jackson got a new camp chair that he loves! Matt also got a new 0 degree sleeping bag which was the perfect oppportunity for Jackson to climb all over Matt!

Matt and my dad left yesterday and hopefully they don't freeze at night and they have good luck finding an elk!

One Step Closer...

The inspection went pretty well, but we did ask the sellers to fix quite a few different things, expecting them to say yes to one or two of them. The came back and surprised us saying yes to everything we asked! So we'll have the appraisal this week and hopefully still close on November 16th!

We're Under Contract!

So the sellers countered our offer, and we accepted so we are under contract on the house! We are having the inspection on Saturday they are going to scope the sewer line, do a radon test, and do a typical inspection. As long as the inspection goes well we will close on November 16th!

Once we take possession we want to tear up the carpet and refinish the wood floors underneath. We also want to carpet the basement that currently has a linoleum floor. Hopefully we can finish the floors and move in by Christmas! Luckily our lease is not up until January 15th so it gives us a little bit of time.

Jack's Truck

Jack got this truck from Grandma Diane and Grandpa Glenn for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He is content to ride it around the house all day long!
