Four in a Tub

The other night Britt started her nightly bath routine with Harry, and I couldn't find Mason anywhere, turns out he had joined Britt and Har in the tub! When Jack found out he was so jealous, so Britt let him join in too! So that is how all four of them ended up in the tub!

I just had to share this picture, which is a terrible one of all of the boys, but I just couldn't help but laugh at it!

Missing Daddy

It's been 1 whole week since we left Dickinson, and we are starting to really miss Matt. Since these pics haven't been posted yet, I wanted to share them! One day Matt just needed to move his truck from town to the farm 20 miles away, so both Jack and Mase got a ride. Jack loved it, Mase (our little "Scaredy Cat") just kept saying, "Scare me".

Strawberry Picking and Making Jelly

Lately Jack has been asking where all of his food comes from, and he is trying to understand what grows, what comes from animals, and what is made. Today my mom and I took Jack strawberry picking and he thought it was great. We picked 5 full ice cream pails, and I'm pretty sure Jack ate far more than he put in his bucket.

Then tonight, my mom, sister and I made jelly, 27 jars of jelly! I took pictures of us making the jelly, but we all looked horrendous so you just get to see pictures of the jelly!

Jack requests "Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches" every single day for lunch, which means I go through a TON of jelly. I'm looking forward to being able to use our homemade jelly!

Cookies with Grandma

Baking cookies with mom involves lots of hand holding, and mom's assistance. Baking cookies with grandma is a free for all with flour on the floor, fingers in the dough, and licking the spoon all being fair game. Yesterday when my mom let the boys cook completely "on their own", they had such a good time, and actually made some pretty good cookies! That's what grandmas are for right?!!

A Baby Girl and Minnesota Skies

My first day in Minnesota my Mom, Aunt, Sister, Grandma, and I went down to the Twin Cities for my Sister-in-Law Brittany's baby shower. I am terrible and took no pictures, but it was beautiful and lots of fun. She is having a baby girl due in August so there was tons of pink and ruffles! We can't wait to have a baby girl in the family.

On the way home the Minnesota skies were gorgeous and I had to take a few pictures!

Worm Hunting

After paying $7.00 for 2 dozen worms, my grandma was appalled, and determined that we would go worm hunting to save some money and have plenty of worms to fish with! So we got out the pitchfork and went to the garden to do some worm hunting. We found about 70 worms in about 20 minutes, which means at the going rate we saved about $20! The boys also had a super fun time!

A Haircut Done by Mama!

Right before we left for Minnesota Jack's hair was looking seriously shaggy.

I tried to get him in for a haircut, but the three places I tried couldn't fit in a kids cut with only a three day notice!!! (That's life in a boomtown) One time when Jack was little I attempted a haircut which resulted in a all over buzz cut. It turned out quite a bit better this time, even though Jack wasn't too happy about it!

Loving Life on the Lake

Yesterday we had big plans to go fishing on the fishing boat, but the motor wouldn't start which resulted in fishing off the dock. Fishing off the dock turned out to be the best thing and in about 45 minutes we caught 10 fish! After our successful fishing endeavor we headed out on the speed boat and had an awesome time! The boys loved it and I enjoyed just relaxing. I could used to life on the lake!
