Ski Hill Hike

I am absolutely LOVING this beautiful Minnesota weather. Today we took advantage of it and took a hike up on top of the ski hill. My biggest regret was not bringing my camera and only having my iPhone. I still got some great pics anyways. I sure love these little boys.

Nisswa Rides

Today was another gorgeous Minnesota winter day, 51 degrees! So we seized the day and headed to Nisswa and ride the dime rides. The boys had a great time (even though Mase looks a bit scared on the horse). Amazing what $.50 can get you in a small town!

My Babies

After the boys take their baths, they love when I wrap them up tight and pretend that they are my babies. The other night while they were being my babies I pulled out my iPhone and snapped a few pics. Aren't they the cutest?

Nisswa Jubilee

Before heading to Denver, we enjoyed a gorgeous Minnesota day by heading to the Nisswa Jubilee. Nisswa is the small tourist town that my parents live in, and there are tons of fun festivals and parades throughout the year. Some of my favorites include summer turtle racing, and welcoming the holiday season with fireworks!

At the carnival Jack got his first face painting done!

Then we had some time to kill before the parade which involved Matt teaching the boys how to play "King of the Mountain" on top of a big snow pile.

Then for the parade the boys got to sit on the car and they were thrilled! I don't think Mase stopped waving the entire time! Beautiful Minnesota winter days don't come too often so it was great to enjoy it as a family!

Denver Trip

We just got home from an outstanding 10 day trip to Denver. The main goal of our trip was to meet our new nephew and cousin Harrison, but we did so many wonderful things on our trip.

My sister took some great pictures and put up a great post here of the boys meeting their cousin!

The boys LOVED the airplanes, and did amazing. Mase even took a nap on the trip out there!
On a trip to King Soopers we just could not resist dual pony rides for a penny!
We had to stop by our old house, just to check in, but it was sad to leave.
The boys played so hard every day, they crashed hard every night. Thankfully our outstanding friends The Floyds let us stay with them.

Not only did we stay with the Floyds, but we had a great time with them. Warren taught Jack about all kinds of "big kid things" like playing pirates, superheros, and legos.
We managed to fit all 4 boys in the tub together!
We also spent lots of time with our friend Lindsey and her daughter Leah. Leah, Mase, and Owen were all born within 2 weeks of each other. Here they are, the March babies at 2 years old!
The trip home went pretty well for having two exhausted boys. There was a lot of bribery that occurred to make for a successful trip.

When we finally arrived home we were greeted by a LOT of snow. Not the warmest Minnesota welcome, especially due to the fact that the driveway was only 2/3 plowed.
Even though It wasn't the warmest welcome, we are very happy to be back "home", or at least what it home for now here at my parents house. Matt comes back from ND in 4 days, and in 6 days Britt and Bri are moving here! And... in only 41 days we move to Dickinson where we can all live together!
